Sunrat Tattoo Shop Update!

The studio has been busier than ever with custom tattoos. Our resident artists love doing custom tattoos, but we also enjoy doing the small ones too! Last week we had a walk in customer nervous to come in to get something really small and simple because she assumed we only do custom and old school tattoos. That is definitely not the case for us at Sunrat, any and all tattoos are welcome! Call the shop or come on in!

In other related news, our good friends from Buried Alive clothing brand has teamed up with Big Sleeps during his stay at Sunrat to do a collaboration design. Big Sleeps custom letters have collided with Buried Alive and came up with these awesome shirts, sweaters, hats and even Iphone cases! The product has finally finished and the merchandise is out, check out Buried Alive brand to get yours!

Boss man Tenam

The season has come once again for Bossman Tenam to be busy all day and busier at night, but still has time to be knocking out bright and bold tattoos everyday. Due to getting ready for Tenams 6th annual Ink Bomb tattoo convention in Seoul Korea, Tenam is busier than ever with appointments on top of more appointments to prepare. Amazingly, Tenam still finds time to do awesome old school tattoos. Here are some of the quick photos we managed to get together that he did the past couple days. INK BOMB 2014!!

For all of you wondering about Bossman Tenam's Ink Bomb convention will return, the answer has come and decisions have been made to have the annual Ink Bomb convention start back up this year. Due to unfortunate events that have happened in the previous Ink Bomb, Tenam decided not to do the 2013 Ink Bomb convention. With a lot more supporters and sponsors this year, Tenam has been making phone calls, writing emails, working through out the days to have everything prepared for this years event. Tattoo artists from around the globe are being contacted again to return to the convention and are working together to make it awesome this year! Dates and artists that are attending have not been final as of now but will post about all of the details.

Here is a picture of the original artwork done by none other than Nagoya's finest tattooer, Horigyn. This is one of three posters being made for the Ink Bomb event from other artists as well, and we cant wait to see the others!

Open to Walk-Ins, Anytime!

The warmer the weather gets, the more customers and clients come out for their tattoos, the way its been, the way it will always be! Sunrat Tattooers Sabi and Saem were pushing out custom tattoos all weekend long, the Sunrat tattoo way, bright and bold! Many people have the idea that you need an appointment to get tattooed the day of, but that is definitely not the case her at Sunrat. These two customers had come into the studio with no consultation or appointment, and walked out with a fresh new tattoo a few hours later. Looking through the artists portfolios, and talking to you about your ideas, we can come up with custom designs while you wait!

Sunrat artist Sabi had a customer walk-in that had a general idea of a Old School Style Swallow tattoo in mind to cover up a good portion of his arm. After talking about the good ideas, and not so good, Sabi came out with this bold Traditional style tattoo for this happy customer.

Bright, colorful and crazy was what this customer was looking for with his Microphone tattoo idea. With the exception of one of the clients ideas to place the Cord to the Microphone straight to his vein that is exactly what Sunrat artist Saem pulled off in this one of a kind piece.
